Sevens Acquire Three-Time Dunk Champion Nate Robinson

The Delaware 87ers announced Wednesday that they have acquired NBA veteran and three-time NBA slam dunk champion Nate Robinson.

Robinson played ten seasons in the NBA with several teams including  New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans.The 5ft 9 and 180 pound veteran averaged 11 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists,  and 1 steal in his ten years in the NBA.

Robinson won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2006,2009 and 2010 as a member of the New York Knicks.

The veteran guard recently played for  Hapoel Tel Aviv of the Israeli Basketball Premier League in the 2015-2016 season. Robinson averaged 16 points, 3 assists,  2 rebounds and 2 steals per game with  Hapoel Tel Aviv. The 3 time slam dunk champion led Hapoel Tel Aviv to the playoffs where he scored 46 points in a quarter final game where he set the record for most points scored in a game since 1985.
