The Delaware 87ers won in thrilling fashion for their last game of 2016 on Friday night at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Sevens beat the Long Island Nets 111-95 which was an exciting game for the home crowd in Newark, Delaware. Sevens Acquire Lewis Jackson From Erie BayHawks

The Delaware 87ers made an another trade this season which there has been a few this  year, this time the trade partner was the Erie Bayhawks. The 87ers announced Friday that they have traded for Erie BayHawks guard Lewis Jackson in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2017 NBA D-League draft. Jackson is a 5 foot 10 inches, 165 pound guard who averaged 6 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal in 20 minutes of play with the BayHawks this season. Sevens Hang On To Beat Bulls 121-117

The Delaware 87ers went into Chicago Saturday night and beat the Windy City Bulls 121-117. The Sevens have now won three games in a row and back to back victories on the road. This is the same team that could not buy a win on the road earlier in the season but now has won their last 5 out 6 games on the road. Sevens Take The Charge Down 114-107

The Delaware 87ers have been on a nice ride lately, winning three out their four last games and they added to it Friday with a 114-107 win over the Canton Charge. Sevens Acquire Devondrick Walker from Knicks

The Delaware 87ers announced Wednesday, they have traded Von Wafer to the Westchester Knicks for Devondrick Walker. Walker is a 6 foot 5 guard who was averaging 10 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, one steal and shot 15 of 16 from the free throw line this season in 21 minutes of play with the Knicks. The 6 foot 5 guard played college basketball at  Texas A&M University-Commerce and earned a  Lone Star Conference All-Second Team selection in his senior year. After going 2-1 on their recent road trip, the Sevens returned home to the Bob Carpenter Center and continued their winning ways. The Delaware 87ers beat the Oklahoma City Blue 104-95 on a chilly Tuesday night. It might of been cold outside but Sevens were hot on their home court playing one of their best quarters of the season when they went up on the Blue 30-16. Sevens Roar Past Grand Rapids In 107-96 Win

The Delaware 87ers battled the Grand Rapids Drive Saturday night and came out victorious in a 107-96 road win. This Delaware’s 2nd consecutive road win and third overall road win of the season. It all started in the first quarter when the Drive came out fast and went on a early 10-4 run with 8:17 left in the quarter. Sevens Halt Knicks Win Streak, Win 106-105

The Delaware 87ers on Thursday night stalled the Westchester Knicks from getting their club record seventh straight win, with a 106-105 win. It all started in the first quarter where the Knicks came out swinging early with  6 consecutive made shots to start the quarter which give them a 14-6 lead. Sevens Get First Road Win Of The Season, Defeat Grand Rapids 118-100

The Delaware 87ers took down the Grand Rapids Drive 118-100 in a game where Delaware was in full control for most of the game. This is the first road win for the Sevens after four unsuccessful tries earlier in the season. This was a different Sevens team in this game from the one we seen on the road this season because they did get into a small deficit in the first quarter but they were able climb back and take control of the game for pretty much rest of the afternoon.
