The Delaware 87ers got swept up by the Windy City Bulls on Saturday night, losing 121-110. The Sevens now have a 0-3 record on the road this season. It all started with the Bulls going on a 10-0 run in the 1st quarter and they would keep the Sevens scoreless about to the 7:58 mark of the quarter.  Bulls Center Cristiano Felicio had 4 points and 3 rebounds during the 10-0 opening run. Delaware 87ers Add Veteran Von Wafer

The Delaware 87ers announced Friday that they have claimed veteran journeyman, guard-forward Von Wafer off of waivers. Wafer who played in the NBA for six seasons with seven different teams, including stints with the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics  and Orlando Magic.Wafer was drafted  in 2005 NBA Draft out Florida State by the Lakers. The Veteran has averaged 7 points in 17 NBA playoff appearances. Most recently, Wafer has been playing internationally with Leones De Ponce in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) league and Jiangsu Tong Xi of the Chinese Basketball Association. 87ers snap 2-Game Losing streak With A 116-111 Win Vs Greensboro

On Monday night, The Delaware 87ers were saying “Home Sweet Home” after their comeback 116-111 win vs the Greensboro Swarm. With the win the Sevens snap a 2 game losing streak and remain undefeated at home (2-0). Monday’s win was not a pretty win but after the lackluster first half, the Sevens were able to outscore the Swarm by 15 in the second half for the comeback win. 87ers Lose Close One to Energy 101-96

The Delaware 87ers lost a close game to the Iowa Energy on Saturday Night and one they looked very dominating in early. This gives the Sevens a two game losing streak. Delaware started out fast with scoring the first five points of the game and then continued on a 13-7 run in the quarter. 87ers Fall to Skyforce 115-103 For First Loss of the Season

The Delaware 87ers fell to the Sioux Falls Skyforce 115-103  on Friday, for their first loss and road loss of the season. The Sevens was not in control of this game at all and played very inconsistent throughout the whole game. SkyForce had total control of this game and never lost the lead throughout the game. Sioux Falls had multiple double digits leads throughout the game which had the Sevens always playing catch up. Wizards Assign Danuel House to 87ers

The Washington Wizards announced Wednesday they have assigned  rookie power forward Danuel House to the Philadelphia 76ers D-League team the Delaware 87ers. House  who was undrafted out of Texas A&M , signed with the Wizards in July and has showed potential to be a great player with a strong summer league showing this past summer. Wizards just have not been using him lately  with House only making one appearance in a Wizards uniform in the regular season. Delaware 87ers beat Westchester 121-108 in Season Home Opener

The excitement was definitely in the air at the Bob Carpenter Center  in Newark, DE on Saturday Night when the Delaware 87ers opened up their season vs the West Chester Knicks  with 121- 108 win.
