Sevens Acquire Donte McGill

The Delaware 87ers announced on Monday that they have acquired guard Donte McGill from the available player pool. McGill attended the Sevens open tryouts earlier this season. The Philadelphia native started his college career playing basketball at Goldey-Beacom College where averaged 25 minutes per game, 15.1 points per game, 3.7 rebounds  and 1.5 assists in 26 games. It was Education Day at the Bob Carpenter Center for the Delaware 87ers and the team sure did educate the fans on how to be effective on offensive side of the ball. James Webb III is getting called up to the NBA as the Brooklyn Nets signed him to a two way contract, the team announced Monday. Webb III has been averaging 11.6 points per game,  6.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 21 games with NBA G-League’s Delaware 87ers. The 6 foot 9 inch, 202 pound power forward started all 39 games for the Delaware 87ers last year averaging 13.10 points per game, 9.2 rebounds, 1.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals.
