Delaware 87ers James Webb III Signs A Two-Way Contract With Brooklyn Nets

James Webb III is getting called up to the NBA as the Brooklyn Nets signed him to a two way contract, the team announced Monday.

Webb III has been averaging 11.6 points per game,  6.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 21 games with NBA G-League’s Delaware 87ers.

The 6 foot 9 inch, 202 pound power forward started all 39 games for the Delaware 87ers last year averaging 13.10 points per game, 9.2 rebounds, 1.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals.

Webb III played college basketball at Boise State University where he averaged  13.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 63 games.

During his time at Boise State, Webb III earned many honors including All-Mountain West First Team honors as a redshirt junior, Mountain West Newcomer of the Year, All-Mountain West Second Team,  All-Mountain West Defensive Team honors as a redshirt sophomore, NABC All-District (17) First Team and Las Vegas Classic All-Tournament Team.

Before playing at Boise State, the former Delaware 87ers power forward played a year at North Idaho College.
