Delaware 87ers James Webb III Signs A Two-Way Contract With Brooklyn Nets

James Webb III is getting called up to the NBA as the Brooklyn Nets signed him to a two way contract, the team announced Monday. Webb III has been averaging 11.6 points per game,  6.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 21 games with NBA G-League’s Delaware 87ers. The 6 foot 9 inch, 202 pound power forward started all 39 games for the Delaware 87ers last year averaging 13.10 points per game, 9.2 rebounds, 1.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Delaware 87ers Win Second Straight Game As They Beat Suns 103-96

The Delaware 87ers seemed to be turning down the right road as they now have won their second straight game of the season and their second win overall on the season. The 87ers beat the Northern Arizona Suns 103-96 at the Bob Carpenter Center on Tuesday night and dominated the game early on which lead the charge for the win. Sevens Get First Win Of The Season With A 98-92 Win Vs Raptors 905

The Delaware 87ers have not had the best of luck this season with going winless in their last 8 games but that all that changed Saturday when the Sevens finally earned that first win of the season. The 87ers took down the Raptors 905 98-92 at Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario Canada, Saturday night. So how did the Sevens get their first win? Delaware 87ers Fall To 0-3 On the Season With A 117-90 Loss To Westchester

After a disappointing 113-111 home opener loss last night, the Delaware 87ers fell even further behind with another loss to the Westchester Knicks Tuesday night which ended 117-90. The loss is the Sevens third straight loss and it was Westchester’s third straight win on the road. Delaware fell behind early in this game 12-0 and really never could dig out of that hole. Delaware 87ers Drop Season Opener 118-109 vs Maine Red Claws

The G-League season officially started Friday and the Delaware 87ers battled it out on the road in the season opener vs the Maine Red Claws. The game was close throughout until the Red Claws took control in the final minutes of the game and gave themselves a 118-109 victory over Delaware. Sevens James Webb III To Miss Remainder of The Season Due To Fractured Ankle

On Tuesday, Delaware 87ers General Manager Brandon Williams announced Sevens Forward James Webb III will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured ankle. Webb III was hurt in the Sevens win vs the Erie BayHawks on Sunday and it was initially thought Webb had a right ankle sprain according to Sevens GM Brandon Williams. “In Sunday’s game vs. the Erie BayHawks, James suffered what initially appeared to be a right ankle sprain. Walker’s 23 Points Lead Sevens To A 124-109 Win Over Bulls

The Delaware 87ers first game at the NBA D-League Showcase went pretty well as they picked up a win over the Windy City Bulls with a 129-109 score. Delaware is now 2-1 against the Bulls with one more meeting between the two teams. It all started in the first half where the Bulls quickly went up 5-0 in the early minutes of the game, thanks to an Aaron Thomas jump shot and an Alfonzo McKinnie three pointer. Sevens Feel the Force on Star Wars Night and Take Home a 129-105 Win Vs BayHawks

The Sevens were definitely feeling the force on the court on Star Wars Night at the Bob Carpenter Center with a dominating 129-105 win over the Erie BayHawks. The Sevens were feeling it on Friday night, where 129 points scored was a season high for the team and Shawn Long scored 45 points in the game his best of the season. Sevens Start The New Year With a 109-106 Win Over Nets

New year, same result for the Delaware 87ers. The last game the Sevens played in 2016 was  a win over the Long Island Nets and the first game of 2017 the result was 109-106 win for the 87ers over the Nets again. Sevens now have back to back wins and both are from the Long Island Nets. It all started in the first quarter where Delaware came out on fire offensively, out scoring the Nets 31-18.
