The Delaware Blue Coats snapped their three-game losing streak on Wednesday as the team defeated the Maine Red Claws 113-92 at the 76ers Fieldhouse.
The leading scorers of the game for the Blue Coats were guard/forward Marial Shayok and guard Jared Brownridge who each had 26 points.
Three other Delaware players scored in double-digits which they were guard Xavier Munford (15), power forward/center Norvel Pelle (12) and guard Zhaire Smith (10).
Blue Coats had the advantage in multiple categories in the game which assists (23-20), steals (14-10), turnovers (16-20) and blocked shots (10-2).
Delaware also had the advantage over Maine in shooting percentage as the team had 45%( 37-82) and Red Claws had 38%( 36-96). At the three-point line, the Blue Coats bested Maine with a 42%(15-36) shooting percentage to Red Claws 26% (8-31).
The Blue Coats did not take their time at the free-throw line for granted as the team shot 80% (12-15). Maine shot 62% (8-13) at the free-throw line in the game.

First Quarter Ends In A Tie
The game started with the Red Claws jumping out to a 9-2 lead but the Blue Coats answered back fast as the team went on a 10-2 run to grab a 12-11 lead with 9:15 left in the first. Marial Shayok was the leader of the Blue Coats run as he scored eight of the 10 points.
At 3:24 minute, Delaware would trail 28-22 but the team would go on a 10-4 run which would have the score tied at 32 with the first quarter coming to a close. Jared Brownridge was the leader of this run as he scored six of the ten points.
Blue Coats Lead By Nine At The Half
In the first six minutes of the second quarter, the Red Claws would outscore Delaware 8-7 to take a 40-39 lead.
Maine would take a timeout which let the Blue Coats regroup as once the team headed back to the floor they would go on a 14-4 run which gave them a 53-44 lead at the half. Jared Brownridge was the leader of this run as he scored six of the 14 points.
Delaware Widen Their Lead To 21
In the first four minutes of the third quarter, Delaware would outscore the Red Claws 9-6 to push their lead to 62-50.
Starting at the 6:25 minute mark, the Blue Coats would start on a 19-8 run to extend their lead to 84-63. Jared Brownridge led Delaware on this run as he scored nine of the 19 points.
Blue Coats Cruise To Dominating Win
In the first four minutes of the fourth quarter, it would be the Blue Coats outscoring Maine 12-8 to push their lead to 96-71.
Starting at the 7:44 minute mark, Delaware would go on a 15-6 run which expanded their lead to 111-77 with 4:10 left in the game. Xavier Munford was the leader of this run as he scored seven of the 15 points.
The Red Claws would outscore the Blue Coats 12-2 for the rest of the quarter but it would not matter as Delaware would still take home a 113-92 win.
