The Delaware Blue Coats have won their sixth straight game to start the 2021 season as the team defeated the Long Island Nets 130-127 on Friday.

The leading scorer in the win for the Blue Coats was guard Jared Brownridge who had 28 points.
Center Paul Reed recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 23 points and ten rebounds.
Four other Delaware players scored in double digits, and they were, guard Rayjon Tucker (18), point guard Justin Robinson (15), guard Jordan Bone (21), and forward/guard Julian Washburn (12).
Blue Coats had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included steals (9-8), turnovers (15-21), and blocks (10-1).
Delaware also bested the Nets at the three-point line as the team shot 50% (21-42) and Long Island shot 39% (13-33).
