5-0: Reed records fifth double-double of the season in Blue Coats 133-111 win over Iowa

The Delaware Blue Coats remain undefeated in the young 2021 season as the team beat the Iowa Wolves 133-111 on Wednesday.

The leading scorer in the win for the Blue Coats was center Paul Reed who recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 27 points and 15 rebounds.

Five other Delaware players scored in double digits, and they were power forward Michael Frazier II (12), guard Rayjon Tucker (21), point guard Justin Robinson (15), guard Jordan Bone (23), and forward/guard Julian Washburn (14).

Blue Coats had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included rebounds (46-41), assists (28-27), steals (12-8), turnovers (16-19), and blocks (5-3).

Delaware also had the advantage in shooting as well, with the team shooting 52% (48-92) and with Iowa shooting 47% (43-91). Blue Coats also bested the Wolves at the three-point line, with the team shooting 45% (21-47) and with Iowa shooting 32% (12-38). Delaware also was better at the free-throw line than the Wolves, as Delaware shot 75% (9-12) and Iowa shot 62% ( 8-13).
