The Delaware Blue Coats have won back to back games to start the 2021 season as the team defeated the Santa Cruz Warriors 103-92 on Friday.

The leading scorer in the win for the Blue Coats was center Paul Reed who recorded a double-double in the win as he had 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Four other Delaware players scored in double digits, and they were power forward Julian Washburn (12), shooting guard Rayjon Tucker (18), point guard Justin Robinson (15), and yesterday’s leading scorer guard Jared Brownridge (12).
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included assists (23-21), steals (15-5), and turnovers (13-26).
Blue Coats also was better at the free-throw line than Santa Cruz, as Delaware shot 67% (12-18) and the Warriors shot 56% ( 9-16).
