3-0: Reed dominates in Blue Coats history-making 108-101 win over the Clippers

The Delaware Blue Coats moved to 3-0 on Sunday as the team defeated the Agua Caliente Clippers 108-101. History was made on Sunday, as the Blue Coats recorded their first 3-0 start in the franchise’s history.

The leading scorer in the win for the Blue Coats was center Paul Reed who recorded a double-double in the win as he had 31 points and 11 rebounds.

Four other Delaware players scored in double digits, and they were shooting guard Rayjon Tucker (19), point guard Justin Robinson (11), guard Jordan Bone (11), and guard Jared Brownridge (14).

Jemerrio Jones was a rebounding machine in the win as he collected 17 rebounds.

Blue Coats had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included rebounds (53-47), assists (26-23), steals (13-6), turnovers (16-21), and blocked shots (5-2).

Delaware also bested Agua Caliente at the three-point line with the team shooting 33% (12-36) and with the Clippers shooting 28% (8-29).
