The Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced on Thursday that the team has signed Paul Reed and Dakota Mathias to Two-Way contracts.
As the NBA G League describes a Two Way contract is when an “NBA team may have up to two players under NBA Two-Way contracts who will spend the bulk of the season in the NBA G League and not more than 45 days with their NBA team. Two-Way players are paid a corresponding daily amount based on the number of days they play in each league. Only players in their fourth NBA season or earlier are able to sign Two-Way contracts, which can be for either one or two seasons.”
Reed and Mathias will show off their skills on the court for Philadelphia’s NBA G-League team, the Delaware Blue Coats, for most of the 2020-2021 season.
Let’s meet the players!
