LOOK WHO IS BACK!!! The Delaware 87ers announced Monday that the team has reacquired power forward/center Shawn Long.
Long was definitely one of the most exciting and promising players on the 87ers in the 2016-2017 season. Long averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 30 minutes per game in the 2016-2017 season.
With those consistent double-doubles, Long was awarded many honors in his time in the G-League including a second team All NBA D-League selection, an Eastern Conference NBA D-League All-Star and NBA D-League Performer of the Week.

Then last season, the ultimate honor for Long was getting the GATORADE Call-Up from the Philadelphia 76ers on March 6, 2017 which was originally a 10 day contract that turned into a partially-guaranteed, multi-year deal.
Long played in 18 games, averaged 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 13 minutes with the 76ers.
Earlier this summer the Philadelphia 76ers traded Long to the Rockets for a 2018 second-round pick and cash considerations.
