3-0: Reed dominates in Blue Coats history-making 108-101 win over the Clippers

Delaware down by one point after one-quarter of play

The game started with the Blue Coats running out to a 17-8 lead with 7:11 left in the first quarter. The duo of Paul Reed and Julian Washburn would score 13 of the 17 points on the run. Rebounding was also a key on this run as the team collected four rebounds.

Seconds later, Agua Caliente would answer back with a 19-8 run of their own, which gave the team a 27-25 lead with 1:21 left in the first quarter.

As time was running down in the first quarter, Delaware outscored the Clippers 6-5 to cut the lead to one point (32-31). Rayjon Tucker and Justin Robinson would each drain a three-point shot during that time to help the Blue Coats come closer to the lead.

Blue Coats down six at the end of the first half

In the first six minutes of the second quarter, Agua Caliente would start to catch fire as the team went on a 16-6 run, which pushed their lead to 48-37 with 6:11 left in the first half.

Starting at the 5:43 minute mark, Delaware would go on an 11-6 run, which cut the lead to six points (54-48) at the end of the first half. During the run, the tag team of Jemerrio Jones and Jordan Bone would each grab a rebound and assisted each other on their shots.

Delaware down by one point after three-quarters of play

The first seven minutes of the second half started with the Clippers outscoring the Blue Coats 15-11, which extended their lead to 69-59 with 4:38 left in the third quarter.

At the 4:17 minute mark, Delaware would climb back into this game as the team went on a 16-7 run, which cut the lead to one point (76-75) at the end of the third quarter. The duo of Rayjon Tucker and Jared Brownridge would score 10 of the 16 points on the run.

Blue Coats win by seven

The fourth quarter started with Delaware roaring on a 15-9 run, which allowed the team to grab a 90-85 lead with 5:57 left in the game. The duo of Jordan Bone and Paul Reed would score 10 of the 15 points on the run. Rebounding also played a huge part in the run as the team collected six rebounds.

Starting at the 4:14 minute mark, the Blue Coats would add 18 more points to seal a 108-101 win over the Clippers. During that time, the main scorer for Delaware would be Rayjon Tucker, who scored eight of the 18 points.
