What a day! Even though it started out a little rainy and the temperature was in the mid-40’s that did not stop the fierce Muscle Champions and supporters who gave all they had in the Muscle Movement Foundation RUN for STRENGTH 5k race at St. Marks High School on Saturday.
After everyone crossed the finish line, it was time to celebrate and have a little fun. Muscle Champions and supporters were welcomed in St.Marks High School cafeteria for food and refreshments.
As everyone chowed down and cooled down from the race, Muscle Movement Foundation Founder Rob DeMasi and Delaware State Senator Jack Walsh started honoring and handing out medals to Muscle Champions and supporters who ran the best time for their age bracket.
The fun continued with live music and a raffle from the various sponsors of the Run for Strength 5k race.
The most important thing is that every runner and muscle champion in the race today help brought awareness and raised money for individuals who suffer from the crippling effects of muscle diseases ( ALS, muscular dystrophy).
