Sevens President Larry Meli said this about the Delaware 87ers 2017-2018 schedule:

“This year’s schedule incorporates some notable changes — earlier mid-week start times at the Bob Carpenter Center and the addition of two games at The Center in Philadelphia. In an effort to manage priorities, the University of Delaware has revised the schedule for the 87ers at the Bob Carpenter Center. We are excited about the ways in which we partnered with the University of Delaware to creatively adjust as they focus on building their presence in their athletic conference. The Sevens’ commitment to our fans, partners, supporters, friends and the state of Delaware itself has been paramount throughout this process.”
