The Delaware Blue Coats won 110-93 over the Westchester Knicks on Friday at the 76ers Fieldhouse. The leading scorer of the game for the Blue Coats was point guard Xavier Munford who scored 21 points. Center Doral Moore had a double-double in the game with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Three other Blue Coats players scored in double digits and they were guard/forward Shake Milton (18), shooting guard Jared Brownridge (14) and power forward Jonah Bolden (12). Delaware 87ers Fall To 0-3 On the Season With A 117-90 Loss To Westchester

After a disappointing 113-111 home opener loss last night, the Delaware 87ers fell even further behind with another loss to the Westchester Knicks Tuesday night which ended 117-90. The loss is the Sevens third straight loss and it was Westchester’s third straight win on the road. Delaware fell behind early in this game 12-0 and really never could dig out of that hole. Delaware 87ers Announce 2017-2018 Schedule

The Delaware 87ers unveiled their 2017-2018 schedule on Thursday, which will mark the fifth season the team has been in the state of Delaware. The season kicks off for the Sevens on the road with a match up vs the Maine Red Claws on November 3rd at 7:00pm. Then on November 6th, the Sevens open the season at home against the Westchester Knicks for back to back games at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Delaware 87ers are just rolling right now, Saturday night they went on the road and smashed the Westchester Knicks 116-88. The Sevens have now won three straight against the Knicks. Sevens now have won back to back games with no rest. The Delaware 87ers announced Wednesday, they have traded Von Wafer to the Westchester Knicks for Devondrick Walker. Walker is a 6 foot 5 guard who was averaging 10 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, one steal and shot 15 of 16 from the free throw line this season in 21 minutes of play with the Knicks. The 6 foot 5 guard played college basketball at  Texas A&M University-Commerce and earned a  Lone Star Conference All-Second Team selection in his senior year. The Delaware 87ers on Thursday night stalled the Westchester Knicks from getting their club record seventh straight win, with a 106-105 win. It all started in the first quarter where the Knicks came out swinging early with  6 consecutive made shots to start the quarter which give them a 14-6 lead.
