The Wilmington Blue Rocks have now won four straight games with their 2-1 extra inning (10 innings) win against the Winston-Salem Dash on Tuesday at Frawley Stadium. This is also the third time this season Wilmington has won with a 2-1 score.

The RBIs in the game came from right fielder Seuly Matias (1) and first baseman Nick Pratto (1).
Two Blue Rocks players had runs in the win and they were center fielder Kyle Isbel (1) and Matias (1).
Two Wilmington hitters gained a hit in the win and they were Isbel (1) and Pratto (1).
Nick Pratto also recorded a stolen base in the win against the Dash.
Rocks were one for six in runners in scoring position and the team left three men on base.
On the pitching side, Rocks starter Nolan Watson had a solid outing as he went 4.1 innings, four hits,one run, one walk and three strikeouts.
Rito Lugo would come into the game to relieve Watson and he was flat out dominant as he went 3.2 innings, one hit and five strikeouts.
Holden Capps would close out the game for the pitching staff as he went two innings, two hits, one walk, four strikeouts and earned the win.
Both Teams Get A Run In the Fourth Inning
If you like pitcher’s duels, well this was the game for you, as each teams lineup had a hard time against the opposing pitcher. The first run did not happen till the fourth inning.
Winston-Salem was the first to get on the scoreboard as the team scored in the top of the fourth inning, as it started with Yeyson Yrizarri stealing second base. Rocks Sebastian Rivero would miss Yrizarri and cause a throwing error which allowed Dash’s Craig Dedelow to score to give his team a 1-0 lead.
The Wilmington Blue Rocks would answer back in the bottom of the fourth as Seuly Matias had a sacrifice fly to left field which would allow Kyle Isbel to score to tie the game at one run each.
After three batters in the fifth inning,Rocks starter Nolan Watson’s day was done as he went 4.1 innings, four hits,one run, one walk and three strikeouts.

Rocks Pratto Hits Winning Run In The 10th Inning
The winning run of the game felt like a lifetime away as the fans waited for six innings to see another score on the board.
Rocks would have that winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning where Nick Pratto hit a single to right field which scored Seuly Matias to give their team a 2-1 win in extra innings.
The Rocks look to sweep the Dash tomorrow at Frawley Stadium on March 10th at 10:35am ET.
