Delaware Blue Coats Announce Open Tryout Dates

Do you or someone you know have dreams to play in National Basketball Association?

Well, your dreams can come to true if you show your basketball skills at the Delaware Blue Coats tryouts.

Blue Coats are the G-League affiliate of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers.

Every participant in the open tryouts will be evaluated by Blue Coats General Manager Elton Brand, Head Coach Connor Johnson and the 76ers/Blue Coats basketball operations staff, according to the team’s press release.

The Blue Coats are holding three tryouts this year ( 1 in Delaware & 2 In Pennsylvania):

Saturday, September 1

Hockessin PAL

Saturday, September 8

McGonigle Hall, Temple University

Saturday, September 15

There is a $150 registration fee and if a participant signs up late or the day of the tryouts it is $200.

Registration includes official Blue Coats tryout jersey, two tickets to a future Blue Coats game and an invitation to an exclusive NBA G League event during the 2018-19 season.

Also, if you decide to make your payment the day of the event it must be made by cash, money order or cashier’s check and made payable to Delaware Blue Coats.

Making Dreams Come True

Since 2013, 20 players from the Delaware’s open tryouts have been invited to NBA G League Training Camp and 12 have made the regular season roster.
