The Delaware 87ers announced Monday that they have a television broadcast partnership with NBC Sports Philadelphia for the 2017-2018 NBA G-League Season. Four games are scheduled to be broadcast this season which they are November 6 vs. Westchester; November 21 vs. Wisconsin Herd; December 27 vs. Raptors 905 and January 19 vs. Long Island.
Dei Lynam, Tom McGinnis, Brian Seltzer and Varun Raghupathi are returning to the television booth for the NBC Sports Philadelphia broadcast.
Dei Lynam is returning for her second season as the color analyst for the Sevens broadcast. Lynam is a familiar face in the Philadelphia area with her covering the Philadelphia 76ers since 1997. She has been honored numerous times for her Sixers coverage, including winning an Emmy.
Tom McGinnis is in his 23rd year as the voice of the Sixers Radio Network. McGinnis serves as the 76ers Director of Radio Broadcasting, while doing all the the play-by-play on-air. McGinnis was named Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association in 2014.
Brian Seltzer has served as the Sixers.com Beat Reporter since the 2015-16 season and is entering his sixth season as the pre-game and post-game host for the Sixers Radio Network. Seltzer is currently co-hosting “Sixers in 60” radio program on 97.5 FM The Fanatic.
Varun Raghupathi is returning for his second season calling games for the Delaware 87ers. Raghupathi also contributes to the Sevens content to their website and their social media sites.
In addition to the TV broadcast, all the 87ers games will be streamed on Facebook Live throughout the season. The 87ers ranked third in the 2016-2017 season with over 1 million unique viewers through Facebook Live.
