The Delaware 87ers made an another trade this season which there has been a few this year, this time the trade partner was the Erie Bayhawks. The 87ers announced Friday that they have traded for Erie BayHawks guard Lewis Jackson in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2017 NBA D-League draft.
Jackson is a 5 foot 10 inches, 165 pound guard who averaged 6 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal in 20 minutes of play with the BayHawks this season. In 2013-2014 season with Erie the veteran guard led the D-League in assist per game with 8.9.
The veteran guard went to college at Purdue where he averaged 11 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal in his senior season. Jackson was a two time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection at Purdue.
