Blue Coats Acquire Keenan Evans & Chris Horton From Grand Rapids Drive

The Delaware Blue Coats announced on Tuesday, that team has acquired guard Keenan Evans and the returning player rights to Chris Horton from the Grand Rapids Drive.  Delaware sent the Grand Rapids Drive the returning player rights to Shawn Long and Devondrick Walker. The Blue Coats also announced the team is waiving recently acquired  guard Nick Hickman. The Delaware 87ers first game at the NBA D-League Showcase went pretty well as they picked up a win over the Windy City Bulls with a 129-109 score. Delaware is now 2-1 against the Bulls with one more meeting between the two teams. It all started in the first half where the Bulls quickly went up 5-0 in the early minutes of the game, thanks to an Aaron Thomas jump shot and an Alfonzo McKinnie three pointer. The Sevens were definitely feeling the force on the court on Star Wars Night at the Bob Carpenter Center with a dominating 129-105 win over the Erie BayHawks. Sevens Start The New Year With a 109-106 Win Over Nets

New year, same result for the Delaware 87ers. The last game the Sevens played in 2016 was  a win over the Long Island Nets and the first game of 2017 the result was 109-106 win for the 87ers over the Nets again. The Delaware 87ers won in thrilling fashion for their last game of 2016 on Friday night at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Sevens beat the Long Island Nets 111-95 which was an exciting game for the home crowd in Newark, Delaware. The Delaware 87ers went into Chicago Saturday night and beat the Windy City Bulls 121-117. The Sevens have now won three games in a row and back to back victories on the road.
