Delaware 87ers Acquire Askia Booker From Northern Arizona Suns

The Delaware 87ers announced Thursday that team has acquired Askia Booker and a 2018 fourth round pick from the Northern Arizona Suns in exchange for  its 2018 first round pick and the returning player rights to Jerrelle Benimon. Booker was averaging 17 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals in 31 minutes per game this season with Northern Arizona. The 6 foot 1 inch, 170 pound guard has played for the Suns ( previously Bakersfield Jam) for the last three seasons which his stats are 14.5 point per game, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 26.7 minutes per game. Delaware 87ers Win Second Straight Game As They Beat Suns 103-96

The Delaware 87ers seemed to be turning down the right road as they now have won their second straight game of the season and their second win overall on the season. The 87ers beat the Northern Arizona Suns 103-96 at the Bob Carpenter Center on Tuesday night and dominated the game early on which lead the charge for the win. It all started in the first quarter where the 87ers just crushed the Suns with outscoring them 31-18 in the first quarter. Sevens Acquire Greg Mays From Suns

The Delaware 87ers announced Friday that they have traded a 2017 sixth round pick for Northern Arizona Suns forward Greg Mays. Mays who was drafted by the Suns with the 30th pick in this year’s D-League draft has been averaging four points and two rebounds in about six minutes of play this season. The 6 foot 8, 220 pound Forward had a stellar season at his last year at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds,  1 assist,  and one block per game.
