Blue Coats Acquire Keenan Evans & Chris Horton From Grand Rapids Drive

The Delaware Blue Coats announced on Tuesday, that team has acquired guard Keenan Evans and the returning player rights to Chris Horton from the Grand Rapids Drive.  Delaware sent the Grand Rapids Drive the returning player rights to Shawn Long and Devondrick Walker. The Blue Coats also announced the team is waiving recently acquired  guard Nick Hickman. Sevens Roar Past Grand Rapids In 107-96 Win

The Delaware 87ers battled the Grand Rapids Drive Saturday night and came out victorious in a 107-96 road win. This Delaware’s 2nd consecutive road win and third overall road win of the season. It all started in the first quarter when the Drive came out fast and went on a early 10-4 run with 8:17 left in the quarter. Sevens Get First Road Win Of The Season, Defeat Grand Rapids 118-100

The Delaware 87ers took down the Grand Rapids Drive 118-100 in a game where Delaware was in full control for most of the game. This is the first road win for the Sevens after four unsuccessful tries earlier in the season. This was a different Sevens team in this game from the one we seen on the road this season because they did get into a small deficit in the first quarter but they were able climb back and take control of the game for pretty much rest of the afternoon.
