Sevens Trade Former 1st Round Draft Pick Brannen Greene for Corey Hawkins

The Delaware 87ers announced Tuesday that they have acquired the returning rights to guard Corey Hawkins from the Salt Lake City Stars for Sevens 2016 first round draft pick Brannen Greene. While not playing in the D-League at the moment, Hawkins is still improving his skills overseas playing for the Port of Antwerp Giants Belgian team. Hawkins has averaged 26 minutes per game, 40% field goal percentage, 4 rebounds a game while playing overseas. Sevens Feel the Force on Star Wars Night and Take Home a 129-105 Win Vs BayHawks

The Sevens were definitely feeling the force on the court on Star Wars Night at the Bob Carpenter Center with a dominating 129-105 win over the Erie BayHawks. The Sevens were feeling it on Friday night, where 129 points scored was a season high for the team and Shawn Long scored 45 points in the game his best of the season. Sevens Hang On To Beat Bulls 121-117

The Delaware 87ers went into Chicago Saturday night and beat the Windy City Bulls 121-117. The Sevens have now won three games in a row and back to back victories on the road. This is the same team that could not buy a win on the road earlier in the season but now has won their last 5 out 6 games on the road. Sevens draft Former Jayhawk Brannen Greene and 3 others in D-League Draft

The Delaware 87ers selected Brannen Greene a guard out of Kansas with their first pick (No.7 overall) in Sunday’s NBA Development League Player Draft. Sevens also selected  Benito Santiago Jr. a forward from Cumberlands University ( No.38 overall), Grandy Glaze a forward from Grand Canyon University (No. 51 overall) and Christian Macauley a center from Texas A&M Commerce University (No.73 overall).
